An orange alert has been issued for several districts, including Adilabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, and Nirmal, indicating the likelihood of heatwave conditions persisting.

Uttar Pradesh: Northern regions are experiencing extreme heat conditions.

Odisha and Jharkhand: Eastern states are also under heatwave alerts.

Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra: Central India is facing high temperatures, with some areas recording over 45°C.

The IMD has issued orange and yellow alerts in these regions, advising residents to stay indoors during peak heat hours and remain hydrated.

The IMD and health authorities recommend the following precautions to mitigate heat-related risks:

Stay Indoors: Avoid outdoor activities between 12 PM and 3 PM.

Hydration: Drink plenty of water and avoid beverages like alcohol, tea, coffee, and sugary drinks that can lead to dehydration.

Protective Clothing: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothes and use hats or umbrellas when outdoors.

Cool Environment: Use fans, coolers, or air conditioning to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature.

Monitor Vulnerable Individuals: Keep an eye on children, the elderly, and those with pre-existing health conditions.
